CalWORKS
Substance abuse services and Domestic Violence services are provided FREE of charge
for CalWORKS participants. Specialized services for women
and their children have been expanded just for CalWORKS
participants throughout Los Angeles County. Under the new
CalWORKS (welfare) regulations, participants have the right
to receive alcohol and/or drug treatment without loss or
reduction of benefits.
