About the Valley Women's Center

Valley Women's Center is a non-profit agency partially funded by the L.A. County Alcohol and Drug Program Administration, and modest fees and donations. Help for the woman alcoholic is the premise on which the non-profit Valley Women's Center was founded. Whether you are questioning your use of alcohol and drugs, have other problems or are concerned about a loved one, please contact us.

The Center offers individual, couples and family counseling in English, Spanish, Farsi, Hebrew and Russian for concerns related to personal, family and marital conflict, incest, depression and emotional eating. In addition, we offer support groups for the chemically dependent and their families, treatment for co-dependency, parenting, and other women's issues. We have sober socials to support the efforts of those in recovery, prevention, education and referral services.

Our outreach, education, evaluations and referral services are free to the community. Fees for individual, couples, family and group counseling are based on a sliding scale; initial consultation at no charge.

Our professional staff, generous Board of Directors and cherished volunteers all contribute to the success of our community-based programs. Our therapists are licensed professionals, doctoral candidates or advanced M.F.T. interns or trainees. Doctoral candidates and interns/trainees are supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist.

For the chemically dependent and the family...there is always hope! We care and we are here to help.
